These terms apply when you use stellarcleanlaundry.com, message or text us (including through Google Search or Maps), or receive commercial laundry and linen service from StellarClean, LLC (“StellarClean,” “we,” “us”), 11 Richards Ave, Warrensburg, New York. Our services are for businesses and institutions. If you have a signed service agreement or written quote with us, it controls wherever it differs from these terms.

Quotes and service agreements

  • Information on our website, by phone or by message is general and is not an offer. Your Wash and Rental Services Agreement sets your prices, replacement costs, delivery days, term, minimum stop charge, fuel and service delivery charges, and any security deposit.
  • Your agreement controls wherever it differs from these terms. It also covers renewal, annual price adjustments and early termination.
  • We may decline service at our discretion before an agreement is signed.

Customer-owned goods (COG)

  • You keep ownership of linens you send us. We launder them and return them.
  • If we lose or damage your goods, we pay their actual value, up to 10 times our wash charge for that item.
  • Linens wear out with normal use and washing. We are not responsible for items at the end of their useful life, or for stains, burns, bleach damage, tears or other conditions present before we received them.

Rental linen

  • Rental linen and garments remain our property. Use them only in your business and for their intended purpose.
  • You pay the replacement cost in your agreement, plus applicable tax, for rental goods that are lost, stolen, destroyed or not returned. That includes goods used as rags or to clean up oil, grease or chemicals.
  • When service ends, return all rental goods. Goods not returned, or returned damaged beyond normal wear, are billed at replacement cost.
  • We may take inventory of our goods at your location during your regular business hours.

Pickup, delivery and counts

  • We service accounts on scheduled routes on the delivery days in your agreement. Please provide safe, reasonable access at the scheduled time.
  • Tell your route driver or our office about shortages, overages or quality issues as soon as you notice them, and we will correct them on the next route. Formal quality notices follow the process in your agreement.

Preparing soiled linen

  • Bag soiled goods in closed bags of no more than 40 pounds each. Use leak-proof bags for wet goods.
  • Keep sharps, trash and personal items out of your linen. We are not responsible for items left in goods.
  • Do not send medical or hazardous waste, flammable materials, or rags soaked in solvent or oil. Oil-soaked items can ignite in a dryer.
  • We may refuse or return goods that are not prepared this way. You are responsible for injury or damage caused by prohibited items.

Healthcare linen

  • Bag linen where it is used, without sorting or rinsing it in patient-care areas.
  • Place linen with blood or other potentially infectious materials in red or biohazard-labeled bags, as required by OSHA’s bloodborne pathogens standard, or another color agreed in writing.
  • We will notify you in writing of any sharps or medical waste found in your linen, normally within one business day. Repeated findings may lead to suspended pickup until you provide a corrective action plan, as set out in your agreement.

Not flame or chemical resistant

  • Our linens and garments are not flame retardant and are not treated to resist acids, caustics or other hazardous chemicals. Do not use them where there is a risk of fire, ignition or contact with hazardous materials.

Our liability

  • We provide service in line with generally accepted standards for the commercial laundry and linen rental industry.
  • Our liability for customer-owned goods is limited as described above. We are not liable for lost profits, business interruption or other indirect damages.

Payment

  • Charges are due on delivery unless we have approved a credit account for you.
  • Credit account balances 30 or more days past due carry a finance charge of 1.33% per month (16% per year) until paid. We may revoke credit and continue service on a cash-on-delivery basis.

Customer Portal

  • The Customer Portal is operated by a third-party provider. Your use of it is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

Texts, messages and our AI assistant

  • If you give us your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages about your account and service, such as delivery updates and replies to your questions. We use texts for service, not marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
  • When you message us through Google Search or Maps, an automated AI assistant may answer first. It uses information from our website and Google Business Profile and can make mistakes. It cannot quote binding prices, approve credits or change these terms or your agreement. Only our staff can. You can ask for a person at any time, and our team reviews these conversations.
  • Messages sent through Google are also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy. Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information by message.

Dry cleaning

Website use

  • Information on this site is general and may change without notice. Do not misuse the site or submit false or abusive information through our forms. Site content, logos and photos belong to us and may not be reused without permission.
  • Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

  • To the extent the law allows, our website and messaging tools are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

Governing law

  • These terms are governed by New York law. Disputes will be handled in the state courts of Albany County, New York.

Changes

  • We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. See also our Privacy Policy.
